With ServiceBus360 portal, you can start viewing and resubmit dead letter messages right in the user interface. All you’ve got to do is to defer the dead letter message. That’s it! You can either resubmit a single message or bulk messages in one go. You have also got the option to edit the message content, session ID, custom properties, and system properties before you resubmit the message. With these configuration settings possible, you’re all set up with very minimal effort. No need for any complex custom application to fetch the dead letter messages.
View the Error details
In a single click, view the error information for dead lettering the message – Dead letter reason and Dead letter error description associated with the message.
Editing & Re-submitting the messages
Whenever there is an error in the message it is moved to the dead letter, you can choose to rectify the error by editing the message/message properties and resubmitting it back to a particular receive entity.
Bulk Resubmit of Messages
Select multiple messages in one go and bulk submit them to a specific destination entity. This is an added functionality in ServiceBus360 that is not available in the Azure portal.
What if you don’t want all your users to be able to bulk submit & resubmit messages? Say, Bob from the administration team needs access to ServiceBus360 portal with resubmit permissions while Scott only requires access to view the messages. With ServiceBus360, you can set up access restrictions at user level to restrict them from being able to resubmit messages. That’s just not it! You can also restrict the right of the users to edit the messages or not before resubmitting them.
Auditing your actions
With full governance and auditing capability, ServiceBus360 maintains the log of activities your users perform on the Resubmit messages. Be it successful/unsuccessful resubmit– all your activities get audited under the Governance and Audit section of ServiceBus360.
